Around the Hotel

The property is located in Jianghan District, one of the most important commercial and financial districts in Wuhan. You will feel yourself in the center of a a vibrant and constantly busy area with busy streets and busy businessmen’s feet under the towering high-rises and above an underground sea of shops selling anything from pricy European bags to cheap electronic trinkets.

More of a concrete jungle and city proper, still the neighbourhood affords easy access to some of the most beautiful cultural sites in the area. It is just a short drive away from the scenic Hankou Bund, a marvellous spot to enjoy a peaceful evening walk on the banks of the Yangtze River. Local security is great too. With well lit avenues and constant police patrol of the surrounding area, you will be completely safe just walking around the commercial zones into the late night hours.

For the foodies out there, the outskirts of town are a paradise of regional flavors; the streets that diverge from the main thoroughfare are packed with local outlets serving spicy duck necks and tasty doupi. A stroll through the neon-lit foodie thoroughfares is enough to blow your senses apart.

You’ll also find a few delightful inner city parks where local residents gather in the early morning for tai chi, gu Zheng, or erhu, providing a welcome respite from the sky scrapers and gripping traffic. Watching the sun rise while sitting by a lotus pond is a nice reminder to breathe in the frantic professional frenzy just a few blocks away.
