Finding the Property

Reaching the accommodation is made convenient by the excellent transport options in the city. If you are flying in then the airpot of Wuhan Tianhe International Airport has a direct metro line and is also simply down the number 1 Airport expressway which should take around forty minutes to reach. If you are travelling here by high speed train then Hankou Railway Station is nearby.

In an urban sprawl such as this, probably the best way to get about is the local subway system. A big subway station is located less than five minutes walking from our front doors:slip into the underground, avoiding the surface level traffic snarl-ups. Taxis and ride hailing cars are everywhere, but for a fast strike at the Yellow Crane Tower or East Lake scenic area the subway is going to be your best bet.

If you would rather go by taxi the hotel doormen are very helpful in stopping cabs and telling the destination to drivers, but it is a good idea to have your required addresses written in Chinese characters on your phone as most drivers here do not speak any foreign languages. Ride hailing applications are also fully operable here and will provide an inexpensive, very transparent method of travelling across the river to Wuchang district.

If it is comfortable to do so then wandering on foot is another great means of seeing the neighbourhood around Jianghan Road especially Jianghan Road itself. In the main commercial areas the sidewalks are reasonably broad and clean so that wandering around and admiring shop windows is very easy. Just be careful when crossing major intersections always keeping an eye out for traffic lights and the ceaseless flow of electric scooters that use the crosswalks.
